EPF Contribution Rate of 7%

Would like to announce and inform that with effective 1st April 2020, new EPF Contribution rate for Employee will be reduce to 7% instead of 11%. If employee would like to remain 11% contribution, employer need to submit KWSP17 (KHAS2020) to EPF department for their record.

Employer contribution remain unchange.

The new rate will take effect from 1st April 2020 to 31st December 2020.

Latest update by EPF Department for 7% contribution rate with effective 1st April 2020.

All employers are require to fill up the Excel form KWSP17 (KHAS2020) for employee that would like to remain 11% contribution rate and email the form to EPF officer. Hard copy submission is not acceptable as of now with the MCO period. Please follow below step for the EPF 11% Voluntary submission to EPF department.

Step 1 = Download form from EPF website (https://www.kwsp.gov.my/) (Excel format)

Step 2 = Fill up the form with necessary information (No Signature and company cop is required)

Step 3 = Send the excel form to VE2020@epf.gov.my with the Email Subject = VE2020

For customer that has already fill up manual hard copy form, you may need to type it into the Excel copy and send it to EPF department.

E Form and BE Form submission has been extended with additional 2 months as per below.
 
Company E Form submission is due on 31st May 2020 (Original date is 31st March 2020)
 
Personal BE Form submission is due on 30th June 2020 (Original date is 30th April 2020)

You may refer to www.hasil.gov.my for further clarification.

Movement Control Order

Malaysia Prime Minister had announce that the Movement Control Order (MCO) has been extended for another 2 weeks which will end on 14th April 2020. 
 
We, SCG Global Solutions will continue to operate remotely and should your company require support to bring payroll data back and work from home, we are able to support installation via team view remotely . Meanwhile, we can offer temporary payroll data process at our end (payroll outsourse) as well.
